A few weeks ago I made my son some TMNT pancakes. I got the idea from pinterest and he loved them. I made pancake batter and added some green puree to it. The green puree consist of broccoli, spinach, and peas. I also put a half cup of batter in a separate bowl before I added the puree. I then added a little bit of green food gel to get the green I wanted. In the separate bowl of batter I added blue gel. I first made the face and I used a spoon to make the face mask right on top. For the eyes I used banana slices and grape jelly. I also used grape jelly for the mouth. Whip cream would also work for the mouth and chocolate chips or blueberries for the eyes. They were a big hit. My son kept saying Whoa turtle cakes.

Isaiahs first time at Dinky Creek.
Growing up I've always gone camping at Dinkey Creek. I love it there and I'm hoping Isaiah will love it too. I want him to have all the wonderful memories I have. He is only five months for his first trip, so I know he wont remember it, but I was excited to take him. When I was younger we would camp out in a tent. Now we rent a cabin. I think a cabin is easier with a five month old for a week, but I would love to camp in a tent with Isaiah. While camping we went fishing, hiking, and swimming. We went to the lake and the creeks. Isaiah loved being outdoors. I'm excited to bring him back when he is a little older. I want to see him run around and explore.

Isaiahs first Easter at One month
Isaiah's first Easter went great. We spent the first half of the day at his great grandmothers house and the second half at my grandparents house. Everyone was excited to see him and wanted to hold him. Isaiah was exactly one month on Easter. I cant believe how fast that one month went. It seemed just like yesterday I was driving home nervously with him from the hospital. In one month you have grown so much. You have chunkier cheeks and funny facial expressions. You also have the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen. I love looking into your eyes while feeding you.

Welcome Isaiah Jacob to the world
I am very excited to announce that my son Isaiah Jacob was born. He entered the world at 5:27 pm on March 8th 2012. He weighed 9lbs 1oz., was 20 inches long and had the most beautiful blue eyes. I went to the hospital around 2:00 pm on the seventh due to contractions. My contractions were very intense, I could barely walk. I was admitted and knew I would soon meet my baby. I've wondered what he or she would look like. What features would he or she have of mine? I chose not to find out the gender of my baby, so I was very anxious. Twenty seven hours later I was holding my baby boy. He is so precious and sweet. He loves to be held and I love holding him. I never knew I could love someone so much. He filled a hole in my heart I never knew I had. He is my whole world and completes me.
